Shameem lives in Gulgasht Colony in Multan and holds a B.A and B.Ed degree. Having taught two years in a private school, Shameem shortly after started her own business. With expertise in both handmade and machine embroidery, Shameem quickly integrated herself with a few boutiques. She also tapped into her computer diploma knowledge by utilizing the Facebook ads feature to draw more customers to her business. With more than sixteen years of industry experience Shameem has exhibited in various countries such as Dubai, India and all over Pakistan. She is about to jet set off to Sri Lanka this coming December to showcase her crafts and Multani identity. Shameem wishes Multani craft to be part of the global handicrafts network as such she hopes to exhibit her work in more foreign countries.

Shaista Batool lives in Multan and holds a master’s degree in fine arts. Shazia used to make paintings on different sizes of canvases and exhibit them at multiple places. With time, she started painting on fabric and decor the fabric with beads and pearls etc to enhance the beauty of the fabric design. It’s been 2 years since she has been doing fabric painting and almost 10 years since she started to paint.Shaista says that the inspiration for paintings come from inside, the inner feelings, the depth of one’s own self and how we choose to portray them out. Shaista won first prize in multiple art competitions and also taught as an art teacher at a local school for about 2 years.Shaista wants to be a well known and well respected artist in future.
